How to buy Binance Coin (BNB) – On Binance

So you’ve purchased Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin and all the major cryptos that you can typically get with fiat currencies, so what to get next? Opening up a new account at an exchange sounds scary. You’ve heard of the hacks, the scams, the difficulty, the unknowns. Well, let’s get you going on Binance exchange and how to purchase the exchange’s coin (Binance Coin aka. BNB).

  1. First, you’ll need to create an account at Binance. Click here to go to Binance. Once you’re there, click on the Register button on the top right hand corner.
  2. You’ll be taken to a page where you’ll have to fill out the standard new account form that is typical of other websites.

  3. Once you’ve filled in the form and submitted, you’ll be prompted to verify your email.

  4. Check out your email, and click on the Verify Email button. Once you click on Verify Email your email, you will be sent back to Binance where you’ll have a link to login.
  5. Login using your login details. As soon as you login, you will be taken to your account page where you’ll be asked if you want enable 2 factor authentication. For the sake of this walkthrough, we won’t be going through enabling your 2 factor authentication. Click on Skip for Now button to proceed to the next step.
  6. Once you’ve verified your account, you’ll need to rollver on the Funds tab and click on Deposits Withdrawals in the dropdown.
  7. You’ll want to deposit either LTC or BTC. Click here to learn how to deposit money into Binance. You can also click here to learn how to transfer Litecoin (I used Litecoin to do this trade). Once you’ve deposited the coin you’ll want to trade, you’ll want to click on the on the Exchange tab, and click on Basic in the dropdown.
  8. Once you’re on the exchange page, click on the BNB button on the right hand side of the page. You’ll see a list of coins pairs for BNB. I deposited Litecoin, so I clicked on the LTC/BNB pair.
  9. Next, you’ll want to click the icon on the far left for the “Buy order”. You will see the column below filled with green buy orders. To get the best bang for your buck on the trade, click on the trade at the very top of the green column. You’ll now see the Price form field filled in the Sell LTC box. Type the amount of LTC you’d like to sell – Binance let’s you know the maximum amount of coins you have to sell. Once you’re content with the trade, click on the Sell LTC button.
  10. You should see the order filled in fairly quickly. Rollover on the funds tab, and click on the Deposits Withdrawals buttons to view your balances.
  11. On this page you should now spot the amount of Binance Coin (BNB) you’ve purchased. Congrats!
